Checking Your Royal Oaks E-mail Using the Web

Do you want to check your e-mail when you are on a vacation or away from your Royal Oaks residence? It’s simple and easy if you follow the instructions below!

First, open up your web browser and type the following address in (as seen below) and hit enter: www.royaloakslife.net/webmail

You will now have a new prompt asking for your e-mail address and password as you see below.

Enter your full e-mail address in the “User name:” field and your password in the “Password:” field as seen below.

Once you are logged in, the following menu will load. From here you have a choice of which webmail system to use. For this example, we will use SquirrelMail.

After clicking on SquirrelMail, the e-mail system loads my inbox. On the left-hand side you will see a list of folders. As you can see below, I have one (1) new e-mail in my Inbox.

As you see below, there are four circled items to make a note of.

  1. INBOX – This shows you what your current folder is. In this instance, it is the Inbox.

  2. The sender – in this example, the e-mail is from Ken Kropp.

  3. Subject – The subject is listed below and in this instance is Test Email – Hello!

  4. Sign Out – Once you are done using the system, you can sign out here.

If you want to compose a new e-mail, simple click on the Compose link as show below.

This will load a new e-mail window. From here you can enter the recipient’s email address, the subject, and the body of the e-mail. Once you are done composing the new e-mail, clock on the Send button and your e-mail will be sent. We hope this helps you use the Royal Oaks e-mail service remotely. If you have further questions, please contact the Royal Oaks I.T. Department at (623) 815-4221.
