Royal Oaks Cable TV Information
Royal Oaks cable television service is provided to all residents. There is no additional fee for the cable television service – it is included in your monthly service fees. The channels are tailored to the tastes of our residents and are based upon majority resident interest.
Over 90 channels are offered in our lineup including a mix of both local and cable channels. All of the local channels are available in high definition (HD). In addition to the local and cable channels, the full HBO and Starz/Encore suites are available for you movie buffs! As you can see, there is something for everyone! An online channel guide is available to you at www.zap2it.com. Once you are at the ZAP2it size, you will need to enter our zip code (85351) and select Royal Oaks Retirement Community.
From time to time we also televise events happening in our Life Enrichment Center. These events are in some areas of the community on channel 16 or channel 17. Please check with the activities department for further information.

Q: Is the Royal Oaks television system compatible with TiVo?
A: Yes, many residents have been able to get TiVo to work well with our system. However, we cannot provide any technical support with TiVo products or guarantee compatibility. If you are interested, you may wish to contact TiVo directly.
Q: Do I need a cable box to work with your system?
A: A cable box is not necessary to work with our cable system. All that is needed is a cable ready television.
